Intense ruby-dark garnet red color, with almost black reflections.
On the nose, hints of dark flowers and small black berry fruits, with light hints of tobacco.
In the mouth it is dry and pleasantly bitterish.

Traditional Apulian dishes, game, baked meats, legume soups or mixed summer grills.
It is also recommended on cutting boards of cured meats and medium-aged cheese.
